Game 7. Something we’ve all been waiting for. The final game of the 2019 season and the final game of the 2019 World Series. This is what its all about. All the hard work being poured into one final game. Zach Grienke vs Max Scherzer. Two former Cy Young award winners are ready to battle it out for one more game. Who will win? Will it be the Astros or will the Nationals upset the baseball world by winning their 1st World Series.
In many ways, the baseball season can be compared to purchasing your dream home. The daunting days of Spring Training can feel like those long drawn out days of looking at houses with your Realtor® . Like Spring Training, you feel like it’s never going to end. Like you’re never going to find a house. Then the day comes. Last day of camp and you’re off to start the season. This is what it feels like to finally pick your dream home.
Here is when we start the Application process. Now it’s on to the regular season. This is when you get with your lender to lock down your financing terms. This is when you and your agent finalize the terms of the purchase.
The grind of the regular season is like the grind of the loan process. Working with your Realtor® and lender is like working with your coaching staff. Coaches preparing you to play every day is like your lender preparing you to proovide any financial documents needed to close. All this hard work brings you to being Conditionally Approved. That’s like making the Post Season. We’re almost there but not done yet.
Round 1 is getting all the final documents to the processor for a Final Approval. Round 2 is getting the Clear to Close.
Now it’s time for the World Series. Game 7 is you at the Title Company signing your final documents. You can taste victory. Holding the keys to your dream home is as sweet as holding the World Series Trophy. We have now Funded. Finally being able to move into your dream home is what it feels like to be a World Series Champion.
